What gets my adrenaline rushing may seem shockingly simple to you.
People, peeps, folks. My heart pounds with excitement when the opportunity to interact with people and engage unfolds. Every local food joint, new city, or business conference I attend is a rush because I know each spot represents a chance to meet new people. The challenge and willingness to adapt to communication situations spawns innovation. And social media fuels my adrenaline.
My goal everyday is to be fearless. And it doesn’t stop with my clients or co-workers.
I help businesses find their identity in this digital playground and consult on content and social media strategy for business development. I’ll help you strike up a conversation with your customers or get in front of the camera. I’m a community manager for 360Connext, a customer experience firm and a Steamfeed rebel because I’ve had enough of these social media ‘ninjas’! Find more about my work style.
I’m also launching a new feature that’s been rocking my inner geek goddess and I’m finally doing something about it.
TechSexy will bring you a laser focus to manage your tech toys better through weekly reviews of the sexiest apps, gadgets and tools worth your time. I love this stuff. But I’ll only write about it if it’s worth going steady with – we already play around with so many products. I don’t know how others do it. But my time is better spent when I have tech tools or toys that benefit and integrate into my thought process easily – personally and professionally. Here’s an example of a previous review: Flipboard. If you have a sweet product you’d like me to review, or know of something that makes you exclaim techsexy, contact me!
I also fancy:
-Startups and legitimately innovative companies with raw energy and appreciation of collaboration. There is no hierarchy when it comes to ideas.
-Board and card games.
-Slurpees, coffee and tea. (It would be nirvana if one day, I made a business enough profit to lavish the employees with a slurpee machine)
-Speaking in meme language.
-Brewing beer and visiting breweries – especially craft ones.
-NCAA Football (Go Illini!)
-Fitness. Balancing exercise with business has been mind blowing in a good way.
-Making friends. Tweet me?
